2. The Service

inbox2api is a cloud service that connects supported mailboxes, ingests inbound email via IMAP-compatible access, normalizes email content, optionally applies AI-based processing, stores attachments or metadata where configured, and forwards structured payloads to customer-defined webhook endpoints.

Unless we expressly agree otherwise in writing, these Terms apply only to the hosted cloud version of inbox2api made available through our website and dashboard.

3. Eligibility and Accounts

You may use the Service only if you have legal capacity to enter into a binding contract on behalf of yourself or the entity you represent. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

You must provide accurate, current, and complete registration, billing, and support contact information, and keep that information up to date.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • violate applicable law, sanctions, or third-party rights;
  • access or process mailbox data without proper authorization;
  • transmit malware, unlawful content, deceptive content, or security threats;
  • attempt to interfere with the availability, integrity, or security of the Service;
  • reverse engineer or misuse the Service except where non-waivable law permits it; or
  • use the Service in a way that is fraudulent, abusive, or materially harms our infrastructure or reputation.

5. Customer Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

  • ensuring you have a lawful basis to connect each mailbox and process the related email data;
  • configuring secure webhook endpoints and validating inbound requests on your side;
  • reviewing and testing your automations before production use;
  • keeping your mailbox credentials, API keys, and connected services secure; and
  • complying with privacy, employment, consumer, and sector-specific laws that apply to your use case.

6. Availability, Integrations, and AI Features

We may add, modify, or discontinue features, integrations, or technical requirements from time to time. Availability of mailbox providers, webhook delivery performance, attachment handling, and AI features may depend on third-party systems outside our reasonable control.

AI-based processing is optional. If you enable AI features, you instruct us to process the relevant data using the configured workflow and applicable subprocessors. AI outputs may be probabilistic and should be reviewed before you rely on them for operational, legal, compliance, or financial decisions.

7. Fees, Billing, and Paddle

Paid use of the Service may be offered on a free tier, pay-as-you-go, usage-based, or other pricing basis displayed on our website, checkout, dashboard, order form, or another commercial document issued by us.

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.

Before completing a purchase, you must review the applicable price, billing frequency if any, taxes, credits, usage assumptions, and the product scope presented at checkout. You authorize Paddle to charge the selected payment method for the applicable order.

Unless required by law or expressly stated otherwise, purchased credits, usage allowances, or prepaid amounts are non-transferable and have no cash value.

8. Refunds and Cancellations

Refund eligibility is governed by our Refund Policy, applicable law, and Paddle's buyer-facing refund flow where Paddle acts as Merchant of Record. Refund requests for Paddle transactions can be submitted within 14 days from the date of the Transaction, subject to Paddle's Refund Policy, applicable law, and any longer non-waivable consumer protection period.

If your purchase includes recurring billing, you may cancel future renewals before the next billing cycle. Cancellation prevents future charges only. Any refund for charges already paid is handled under the Refund Policy and Paddle's refund process.

9. Intellectual Property

We and our licensors retain all right, title, and interest in the Service, including software, branding, documentation, and related intellectual property. These Terms do not transfer any ownership rights to you.

You retain your rights in the data you submit to the Service. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive right to host, process, transmit, and otherwise use that data solely as needed to provide, secure, support, and improve the Service and comply with law.

10. Privacy and Data Processing

Our processing of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy. You acknowledge that the Service may process account data, mailbox credentials, email content, metadata, attachments, billing data, logs, and support communications as necessary to operate the Service.

11. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or limit access to the Service immediately if reasonably necessary to protect the Service, comply with law, respond to abuse, prevent fraud, or address a material security issue.

Either party may stop using the Service at any time. We may terminate or suspend your access if you materially breach these Terms and fail to cure the breach within a reasonable period where cure is possible.

12. Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure against every threat, or fully compatible with every mailbox provider, webhook endpoint, automation stack, or downstream system.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CONTEXTA and its affiliates, officers, employees, and contractors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, goodwill, use, data, business opportunity, or anticipated savings arising out of or relating to the Service.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability for all claims arising out of or relating to the Service will not exceed the total amount paid by you for the Service during the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

14. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless CONTEXTA from claims, damages, liabilities, and costs arising from your misuse of the Service, your data, your connected accounts, your violation of law, or your breach of these Terms.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Montenegro, excluding conflict-of-law rules. Subject to any mandatory rights that apply to you under consumer law, the courts of Montenegro will have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms.

16. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version becomes effective when posted on this page, unless a later effective date is stated. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms.
